Survey Market Research Manager

GLG is seeking a Project Manager to join our fast-growing market research survey business in North America. The Project Manager will collaborate with GLG Research and Business Development professionals, as well as GLG’s sophisticated client base of professional service firms. This person will lead the execution of survey projects from initial client inquiry, through fielding and delivery, while ensuring the highest standard of quality and client satisfaction.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen analytic outlook, as well as a passion for creative problem solving, client service, and project management.

Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): 

  • Project leadership: Serve as point-person for survey execution; ensure the GLG panel is optimally utilized for the success of his/her project
  • Thought leadership: Serve clients’ requests on their complex, fast-turnaround learning needs
  • Client leadership: Partner with clients to best understand their survey needs and our capabilities; manage expectations appropriately and suggest ‘best practices’ approaches; work with internal GLG research/sales teams to identify high potential client opportunities and how our survey product could be leveraged by clients

An Ideal Candidate Will Have Most of the Following:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2-4 years of market research and survey experience, including experience with online survey platforms and online panels
  • Experience collaborating with team-members in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, process-oriented, client-servicing environment
  • Superior writing, logic and interaction skills; including oral and organizational skills
  • Experience reviewing data and/or communicating project updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Market research or a demonstrated strong understanding of professional services a plus
