GLG is seeking entrepreneurial inquisitive graduates to join our research team in Dublin, covering 3:30 PM -12:00 AM, Dublin Time.  Our Senior Associates are front-line service professionals and the engine of GLG. They work closely with our experts and with clients -- professionals at the world’s top corporations, investment firms, management consulting firms, and nonprofits -- on the critical decisions they make every day. These custom learning solutions include phone consultations and one-on-one meetings as well as surveys.

The Senior Client Service Associate will work within the APAC business unit which serves the world’s leading management and strategy consulting firms, investment firms, audit firms, corporates and, agencies. The main role of the Senior Associate will be to assist clients in the APAC region on their customized research projects and work directly with GLG Council Members.

The Associate Role involves a fast-paced progression through GLG’s client servicing operation. Client Service Associates gain exposure to a wide array of cutting-edge business topics, thought leaders, and decision-makers. The programme places an imperative on developing strong project management skills, client servicing and relationship management, commercial and revenue generation acumen, and practical communication skills.

Our Senior Associates work in teams, helping connect our clients to the insight they need from these leading doctors, academics, scientists, policy specialists, strategists, executives and other experts with years of on-the-ground experience. Senior Associates themselves develop expertise across industries and topics via their client service role. Our team based in Dublin services clients across the APAC region, and engages primarily with experts in the EMEA and US regions. This particular role will entail working between 3:30 PM and 12:00 AM, Dublin Time.

 Key Responsibilities

GLG Client Service Associate is responsible for:

Client Service: A Client Service Associate is responsible for the execution and management of client projects. They are responsible for on-boarding new projects, quickly and comprehensively understanding the problem statement and identifying learning needs of clients, defining the industry expertise required to address these learning needs, custom-recruiting and qualifying GLG Council Members, and connecting the most relevant GLG Council Members with clients.

Enhancing the GLG Councils: A Client Service Associate is responsible for developing relationships with GLG’s most respected thought leaders across sectors, as well as custom recruiting new senior executives and leading consultants into the GLG Councils through research, networking, and direct outreach. 

Team-wide collaboration. A Client Service Associate is expected to work closely with our Research teams in the APAC region to provide support on their ongoing client projects, as well as new projects, which are received after APAC work hours, Sales and Business Development team, and other research professionals to develop customized products for GLG clients.

For the position of Client Service Associate, we seek applicants with Bachelors or Master’s degrees from top-tier colleges and universities or equivalent work experience. These factors will strengthen an applicant’s candidacy:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or above. Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 1- 3 years of work experience in a client-facing or Analyst roles in relevant industries such as business services, market research, consultancies, financial services, etc.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated oral and written abilities;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and another Asian language such as Mandarin, Korean, Japanese etc. is preferred but not a requirement
  • Successful track record working in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across the full professional spectrum including senior colleagues and extremely senior outside professionals
