Life Sciences’ Business Development Associate
We are seeking candidates for a Business Development Associate role on the GLG Life Sciences Sales team in London. This Business Development Associate will be responsible for establishing and building relationships with life sciences executives in Europe over the phone, by WebEx, and in-person. This person will be responsible for regularly presenting GLG’s platform to prospects and clients to increase awareness of GLG’s brand, generate new client leads, use GLG’s CRM to track and map client accounts, and work in collaboration with field representatives across EMEA to drive adoption and usage of GLG’s services.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Create account plans
Keep updated on the macro trends in the life sciences industry and articulate how GLG can help clients better address these trends.
Key performance metrics for this position will include client interactions scheduled and completed, increases in client revenue, new subscriber revenues, user engagement measures, client project volume and number of active users of GLG’s services at client firms. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for establishing relationships with assigned clients. This person will report to the VP of Life Sciences Sales in EMEA and will work closely with client service professionals and other salespeople. Candidates should be comfortable articulating the value of our learning platform, professional services and client-facing software systems to clients.
