Credit Content Associate

London, GB

You will be responsible for tracking project trends in the credit industry and supporting the development of content for GLG’s credit clients in Europe.  This segment includes – but is not limited to – investment professionals focused on distressed, high yield, direct lending, and special situations.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Proactively tracking market movements and client interest within the credit market via Bloomberg, DebtMarket and internal monitoring 
  • Programming relevant content around these markets
  • Contributing to the design, development, positioning and marketing of our credit solutions & products
  • Partnering with our Client Solutions teams to keep them abreast of current trends in the credit space
  • Collaborating with GLG’s other 22 offices to ensure best practices are discussed and incorporated

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 2+ years of work experience in client-facing or analyst roles in relevant industries such as banking, business services, market research, consultancies and financial services, plus significant ongoing curiosity about trends and personalities in financial markets 
  • Bachelors degree or above
  • An interest in the credit industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work proactively
  • Ability to connect the dots between new trends and existing priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Successful track record working in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
