Job Summary

                               

GLG is looking for an associate for a startup division, called Strategic Projects, to help us build a strong network of independent consultants, scale operations, grow the reputation of our brand and continue to professionalize our platform service.

 

GLG Strategic Projects offers a disruptive alternative to traditional management consulting.  Our unique service platform partners top tier independent consultants with industry experts to deliver consulting engagements. The division is growing rapidly, so this is an exciting time to be a part of our team. In this role you will work in a fast-growing, dynamic and entrepreneurial team with exposure to business operations of two-sided marketplace.

 

The successful candidate will be personable, responsible, detail-oriented, insights-driven, and passionate about what we do. The leadership will provide close mentoring environment to accelerate development, while also allowing autonomy to drive projects forward.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Operations: Work closely with our internal team to understand process and product pain-points. Scale and professionalize our platform service by optimizing processes.
  • Project management: Run projects cross-functionally as part, execute on change management and lead reporting on the business metrics.
  • Insights and analytics: Deep-dive into process, client, and product insights, or conduct research to help guide the direction of the business.
  • Product Definition: Work with our internal teams to define standards for our consulting projects, areas of quality and cost improvements.
  • Product Innovation: Explore product and process enhancements. Work with senior leadership to define new product ideas, parameters and KPIs.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, consumer behavior, research and analytics.
  • Effective project manager and cross-functional collaborator.
  • Strong analytics and insights mindset.
  • Comfortable with some ambiguity, a team player, and a creative problem-solver.
  • Personable, energetic and motivated to grow the business from ground up.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity, integrity combined with practical sense to cut to core issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
