Customer Success Business Operations Analyst

Job Summary

GLG is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to help promote data quality, analytics, and performance of the Customer Success team.

This individual will partner directly with our quickly expanding Customer Success managers to organize lead generation campaigns, clean and assure the quality of CRM data, and provide valuable analytics on a variety of initiatives. This individual will need to work collaboratively with sales professionals, business intelligence analysts, and other central operations teams in multiple business segments. This individual will be located in our New York office and will report into the Customer Success department.

We are seeking a strong self-starter with a background in data analysis, demonstrated dedication to quality assurance of all work product, enthusiasm for working collaboratively, outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

 

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Eagerness to understand of our customer base and user journey in order to support the team in all aspects of client outreach
  • Fostering communication between Customer Success, sales, business intelligence and operations professionals to identify lead generation campaigns, prepare customer lists, and arrange campaign deployment
  • Cleaning and preparing data within the CRM system to deliver targeted campaigns
  • Ensuring data integrity and participating in data quality control and validation
  • Collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting campaign results to increase revenue performance
  • Clearly articulating campaign effectiveness and client trends to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Providing original thought leadership to improve the efficiency and operations of the team

 

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Demonstrated prior work experience with data analysis
  • Devotion to accuracy, detail, analytic consistency and data integrity
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to collaborate
  • Ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (or similar)
  • Experience with salesforce.com and business intelligence tools
