Business Operations Analyst

Job Summary

GLG is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to help promote data quality, analytics, and lead generation.

This individual will partner directly with our sales professionals and managers in multiple business segments to organize and distribute campaigns, clean and manage CRM data, and provide valuable analytics on a variety of initiatives. This individual will be located in our New York office and will report into Sales Strategy.

We are seeking a strong self-starter with solid data analysis and critical thinking skills, outstanding interpersonal ability, the ability to multitask, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Fostering communication between sales professionals and a 3rd party lead vendor to generate lead lists
  • Cleaning and preparing data for system upload
  • Organizing, distributing, and analyzing leads into campaigns
  • Ensuring data integrity and participating in data quality control and validation
  • Implementing changes to sales coverage, including account, contact, and task ownership in salesforce
  • Providing operational support for internal resource planning, cost optimization, and deal development
  • Collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting marketing and sales data in order to increase revenue performance

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Analytic creativity, insight and agility
  • Devotion to accuracy, detail, analytic consistency and data integrity
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to collaborate
  • Ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel
  • Experience with and business intelligence tools
