Job Summary

The Director, Digital Marketing will be responsible for leading the brand development and demand generation strategy across GLG’s digital channels globally. The Director, Digital Marketing will define the digital vision and content initiatives designed to attract traffic to the GLG website and increase awareness of company's products and services.


This individual will be a self-starter who can gain buy-in with senior level stakeholders and lead directly and through influence. The successful candidate should be well versed and hands-on in the latest digital marketing trends, including SEO, SEM, re-targeting, email, campaign optimization, and analytics. He/she will possess extreme attention to detail, stellar communication and writing skills, a high level of organization, proven proficiency in handling multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pasted ever-changing environment.


The role reports directly to the VP Brand Marketing and will be a key senior member of the team. This is an exciting high-growth potential opportunity for someone ambitious and entrepreneurial.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Digital Strategy — Leverage holistic understanding of GLG’s offerings and potential to define the entire digital roadmap, leveraging proprietary content and data as well as third party content, and working cross-functionally across Business Units and marketing channels to ensure flawless execution aligned to business objectives and priorities.
  • Effective measurement and reporting — Define the digital measurement framework for GLG and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns/activations assessing against goals.





  • Integration— Inform front-end digital technology and tool selection, key integration points with back-end platforms (e.g. CRM, mail, etc.) and related optimization strategies in coordination with internal IT systems administration and external development teams.
  • Financial — Develop budgets and maintain appropriate spend levels for core marketing tech stack in partnership with VP Marketing Ops.
  • Test and learn —  Oversee the development of A/B testing processes and tools, including goal definition, test variations, confidence levels, etc. as well as the page-level configurations and measurement mechanisms to assess outcomes and follow-on actions.



An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of digital marketing and demand generation experience for a B2B company
  • Solid knowledge of the full and evolving digital marketing landscape and a history of success managing digital marketing programs that drive business results
  • A team player who has the ability to multi-task and is self-directed.
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively with business units, executives and staff.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage agency partners
  • Experienced with supporting Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to lead thinking and set strategy yet willing to go hands-on as needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly-motivated self-starter with a positive “get it done” attitude
  • Hands-on experience working with: Google Analytics, CMS platforms, Marketing automation platforms (preferably Marketo) as well as
