Business Development Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking candidates for a Business Development Associate role on the GLG Korea Sales team in Korea. This Associate will be responsible for establishing and building relationships with the clients in Korea, over the phone and face to face meeting.

This person will be responsible for regularly presenting GLG’s platform to clients to increase awareness of GLG’s brand, generate leads, and use GLG’s CRM to track and map client accounts, and work in collaboration with sales representatives across APAC country to drive adoption and usage of GLG’s services.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage some day to day administrative duties with accounts (billing questions, data integrity checks, etc)
  • Push out new product, service and pricing initiatives to clients and collect clients’ feedback on those initiatives.
  • Provide after-sales support to retain clients
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • Build strong client relationships, through regular communication
  • Report on the status of accounts
  • Coordinate with Senior Sales Managers to create customized sales plans for key clients
  • Work alongside Senior Sales Managers in negotiating enterprise level deals for existing clients and new business.


Required Skills:

  • BS or BA degree in addition to 1-3 years of work experience (career switchers encouraged in addition to sales experience)
  • Strong written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset and are interested in helping build a business and be compensated according to performance
