Target Populations

Option 1: Data set with 30 Tier 1 distributors of Moutai brand only:

  • 30 Tier 1 distributors of Moutai will provide their views on the current market landscape in China, including sales volume trends, potential of Moutai ex-factory price increase, volume trends and influence of Moutai’s direct sale, and inventory levels
  • Moutai’s range of products and price segments in 2020Q2 will be examined in detail; including market position, significance in the portfolio, and future potential, along with expectations for market demand shifts
  • Participating distributors will estimate the post COVID-19 demand recovery status, consumption patterns in each region and the demand structure trends

Option 2: Data set with 30 Tier 1 distributors of Moutai, Wuliangye and Yanghe with a minimum of 10 each:

  • 30 Tier 1 distributors of Moutai, Wuliangye and Yanghe will provide their views on the current market landscape in China, including sales volume trends, competitive dynamics, pricing trends, and inventory levels
  • Comparison of leading Baijiu brands including their range of products, price segments, market positions, future potential, along with expectations for market demand shifts
  • Participating distributors will estimate the post COVID-19 demand recovery status, consumption patterns in each region and the demand structure trends

 

Length of Survey (LOI)

Up to 30 questions including screening questions. During the early-bird commitment phase, a Client may submit up to 3 proprietary questions (visible only to the Client upon delivery of the final product) prior to the deadline on 11 August 2020. After the early-bird commitment deadline, clients will not be able to add any proprietary questions to the survey.

Deliverables

Questionnaire review:
GLG Surveys team will draft the questionnaire with the support of GLG Council Members actively participating in the Chinese Baijiu market

Standard deliverable, which includes

  • 1 x Individual responses (“raw data”), in Excel
  • 1 x PPT report with aggregated data

 

Terms:
The Client acknowledges and agrees that this is a Survey, and the results, excluding pre-commitment proprietary questions exclusive to the client, will be provided to all GLG clients that agree to participate in the survey and GLG clients that agree to purchase the Survey results in the future. Upon finding these terms acceptable, please send an affirmative confirmation via email, which GLG will file in its records. Once confirmed, please note that the Client’s agreement to purchase the Survey is a legally binding and irrevocable commitment. GLG will invoice Client for the fees due for the survey. Please note that some respondents may not be Council Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Council Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the survey.
