Senior Recruiting Associate-Council Development-Real Estate/Energy Industry

Senior Recruiting Associates work closely with the Hong Kong based credit distressed and special situations(不良资产投资)Client Solutions team, on custom recruiting efforts to quickly connect GLG Clients with key opinion leaders and industry executives of all levels, as well as leading strategic development of GLG Council Member communities


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Grow the GLG Council Member Network in Greater China by recruiting industry experts through outreach, desktop research, industry networking and relationship building.
  • Work closely with GLG Client Solutions team to understand clients’ needs, fulfil time-sensitive recruiting requests by analyzing client inquiries, identifying and interacting with industry experts best suited to participate in consulting activities with our clients.
  • Work closely with GLG Client Solutions team to identify strategic recruiting opportunities, align recruiting efforts and drive development of new content and product opportunities (e.g. Event speakers, survey panels).
  • Lead the recruiting initiatives and relationship management of industry experts in Real Estate, Energy & Industrials & Macro Policy space and develop in-depth industry knowledge.
  • Develop relationships with key industry opinion leaders, organize offline expert networking events to foster knowledge sharing and develop referral opportunities.
  • Assist with initiatives associated with building the GLG Council Membership.

 

 

An ideal candidate will have the following: 

 

  • Three to four years working experience within Real Estate, Energy & Industrials or consulting industry, including:
    • Business Development
    • Executive Recruitment
    • Investor Relations
    • Conference/ Tradeshow production
    • Financial Public Relations
    • Financial Journalism
  • Good understanding, awareness and interest in financial markets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English. Professional and confident interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong time management skills, multi-task ability and attention to detail.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a top tier university.
  • Native Mandarin speaker with fluency in English is a must.
