Gerson Lehrman Group is seeking a Senior Associate in Kuala Lumpur. The role will support and manage research inquiries coming from our corporate client firms based in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
The Senior Associate will play a key role in advancing GLG's business and expanding the corporate client base by fostering relationships with clients and effectively fulfilling their research needs.
Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Facilitate interactions between GLG Network Members and our clients, enabling them to make informed decisions.
- Build and nurture client relationships, understand our client’s business, and identify suitable GLG solutions.
- Engage with GLG's Network Members to understand their capabilities and effectively match them with client requests.
- Develop relationships with clients, who are leading Corporations in ANZ, through effective client relationship management strategies, project execution, and virtual interactions.
- Collaborate with our Account Management and Business Development teams to grow revenue and ensure the retention of existing accounts.
- Assist in the programming and hosting of live/virtual meetings between GLG Network Members and GLG clients.
- Collaborating with GLG’s Events, Strategic Projects, and Survey teams to pitch and execute a wide range of products.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- 3+ years of experience, ideally with direct experience within a corporate business, or servicing corporate clients within a management consulting or professional service capacity.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to call and engage clients.
- Capacity to identify client needs and propose effective solutions to meet client objectives.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing client requirements and varying research requests.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Can think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth.
