World’s Largest Membership for Professional Learning Partners with Sohn Conference Foundation to Present Fresh Perspectives in Investing
New York, New York — Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc. (GLG), the world’s largest membership network for one-on-one professional learning today announced its sponsorship of the Sohn Investment Idea Contest. The competition will take place in conjunction with the 19th Annual Sohn Investment Conference on May 5, 2014 in New York City, produced in partnership with Bloomberg LINK. The contest seeks to identify the most timely and actionable investment idea to be featured at the conference.
Contest investment ideas must involve a publicly traded security with market capitalization of USD $1 billion or greater. A panel of distinguished judges will select the winner, who will present his or her idea before an audience of 3,000 portfolio managers, asset allocators and private investors at the Sohn Conference. The Sohn Investment Conference convenes leading investors to exchange ideas while raising funds to support innovative pediatric cancer research.
