Position Summary

 

We are currently looking for an associate to join our India Accounting team. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent accounting knowledge as well as strong analytical and communication skills. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a rapidly growing global organization. 

 

Position Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
  • Timely response to vendor and other stakeholder on their queries.
  • Month end closing activities like booking of accruals, reversals, prepaid expenses etc.
  • Prepare detailed account analysis and reconciliation for various balance sheet accounts.
  • Assisting in audits.
  • Process improvements & automations.
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and requests.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a MNC or a public accounting firm in handling Indian accounting & compliances.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles & taxation laws.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must have good communications skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships across the company’s operations.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience with Great Plains would be preferable.
