Senior Associate, Marketing

Experience Level: Mid

GLG is seeking an experienced marketer to join our APAC marketing team in South Korea, as a North APAC Marketing Senior Associate.

The Marketing Senior Associate will support the development of go-to-market messaging, engagement and lead-gen campaigns, and marketing strategies across the Financial Services, Corporates, and Professional Services Firm clients, reporting to the North APAC Marketing Manager. He/she will be tasked with working closely with the South Kora business team to build awareness, effectively communicate new offerings, drive engagement among existing clients and support the acquisition of new clients.

Focused on revenue-generating activities, the candidate will support efforts across new business generation, client demand generation and cross-sell, content creation, and more. He/she will also support the materials, technology, and tactics needed to move customers throughout the funnel - from programs to build awareness, to sales materials and case studies, to automated campaigns to stay top-of-mind. This role will support the North APAC Marketing Manager to demonstrate marketing efforts and work closely on each of the projects.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the business needs and co-create insightful and engaging content
  • Write clear, compelling and target-audience focused content including, emails, case studies, website, social media copy and other marketing
  • Support on digital content production including proofreading, content editing, copywriting, uploading, formatting and publishing
  • Support maintaining regional websites, social media, monitor performance, and optimize content based on the customer focus
  • Good understanding of South Korea’s marketing channels (e.g. Search Engine, Social Media, Business Media, Association etc.)
  • Support data evaluation, marketing reporting and idea pipeline
  • Support the execution of projects, coordinating with both the business unit and the central marketing team

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 2-3 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in MNC
  • Business proficiency in English
  • Experience working on copy creation on marketing email, articles, Case Studies and website, etc.
  • Experience in Paid Search and Paid Ads
  • Experience in technical and content SEO  
  • Experience in marketing analytics data would be ideal (email and website metrics, SEO metrics, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Understanding of wide range of Marketing methods for Lead gen and demand gen
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate; effectively working across multiple levels, roles, and functions in the organization.
