TA Sourcing Recruiter

Experience Level: Junior

GLG’s Sourcing Recruiter role reflects our commitment to attracting and onboard the brightest talent. This position will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategy that reflects our firm culture, values, and success factors. This position is responsible for elevating the relationship within the recruitment unit, candidate experience and requires thorough understanding of business needs and priorities to translate them into practical sourcing and recruitment strategy. 


Specific responsibilities include
(but are not limited to):

  • Pro-active attraction, outreach and engagement with potential candidates through various job portals, social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Identifying qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques
  • Coordinating with hiring managers to clearly understand the position and people requirements and their business impact
  • Developing ongoing talent pipelines for future hiring needs and strategic roles
  • Measuring conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
  • Actively promote employee referrals program and process improvements
  • Promoting GLG employer brand online and offline while maintaining compliance with our communication policies
  • Maintaining and auditing candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Communicating with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Ideate and execute introduction of new alternative sourcing channels

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 0 - 3 years of Talent sourcing/acquisition experience
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English, with Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in Korean could be plus
  • A team player with a strong sense of urgency and solid problem-solving skills
  • A flexible approach and ability to operate in a fast-moving and demanding environment
  • High level of attitude awareness, positive energy and hungry for success 
  • Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy and articulate the USP and needs of a position
  • Demonstrated competence in thinking strategically, analytically, conceptually, and willing to be hands-on throughout daily activities
  • A flexible approach and ability to operate in a fast-moving and demanding environment
  • Working experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus (Greenhouse)
  • Applicants with agency experience in BPO, RPO
