Manager, Sales Marketing (Law)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Manager to join our Demand Generation team servicing law firm clients in the U.S. As a Sales Marketing Manager, you’ll work as part of a larger sales team to create interest in GLG’s law service offerings, to attract and retain clients, and drive revenue. We’re all dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and have the requisite communication skills and polish to do so.  

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing and executing short and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and the sales pipeline
  • Performing A/B testing strategies and execution
  • Monitoring and optimizing email marketing campaigns and programs
  • Working within a team of business development professionals and collaborating with other departments to develop and enhance sales strategies
  • Measuring and analyzing campaign and marketing success
  • Delivering performance reports to leadership
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of legal market, as well as the macro business environment, disseminating relevant content to the rest of the team as appropriate
  • Collaborating with colleagues on and across teams to build and shape the business​
  • Contributing to and where appropriate spearheading key strategic initiatives established by GLG leadership
  • Managers may also, depending on experience, interest, and team need, be placed in a position of management over entry level Associates in a supervisory and people leader capacity.

  • 2-5 years of email or digital marketing / sales experience is required, preferably in law or professional services

For this specific position, the following factors will strengthen an applicant’s candidacy:

  • Bachelors or higher degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Superior communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities
  • Receptive to coaching and feedback​
  • Demonstrated commitment, judgment, emotional maturity, and intensity, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hustle attitude
  • Comfortable using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required
  • Entrepreneurial zeal and deep desire to build a business
  • Data and results-driven mindset
  • Basic understanding of CRMs like Salesforce and sales enablement platforms such as Marketo, Groove and/or Salesloft
  • Understanding, awareness and/or interest in the legal industry but not a necessary prerequisite

Working Environment: Flexible / Hybrid working arrangements typically requiring 2 days per week in office.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$56,400$77,500 USD
