Air-Con Distributors and Retailers – Haier, Gree & Midea

Target Populations

GLG will survey n70 distributors and retailers who are selling Haier, Gree, Midea and other air-conditioners across five regions in China.

These respondents will be able to provide insight into the following key topics:

  • COVID-19 impact to air-conditioner sales performance in 1H2020, including sales volume, pricing war, inventory trends; as well as any changes in consumer behaviour
  • Demand recovery post lockdown across different sale channels, including retail, real estate developer and e-commerce channel
  • On the supply side: Production capacity recovery, new product launch and speed of delivery to market

 

Length of Survey (LOI)

Up to 30 questions including screening questions. During the early-bird commitment phase, a Client may submit up to 3 proprietary questions (visible only to the Client upon delivery of the final product) by the deadline on 10th of July. After the early-bird commitment deadline, clients will not be able to add any proprietary questions to the survey.

Deliverables

Questionnaire review:
GLG survey team will draft the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Members actively working in the Chinese home appliance sector.

Standard deliverable, which includes

  • 1 x Individual responses (“raw data”), in Excel
  • 1 x PPT report with aggregated data

 

 

Terms:
The Client acknowledges and agrees that this is a Survey, and the results, excluding pre-commitment proprietary questions exclusive to the client, will be provided to all GLG clients that agree to participate in the survey and GLG clients that agree to purchase the Survey results in the future. Upon finding these terms acceptable, please send an affirmative confirmation via email, which GLG will file in its records. Once confirmed, please note that the Client’s agreement to purchase the Survey is a legally binding and irrevocable commitment. GLG will invoice Client for the fees due for the survey. Please note that some respondents may not be Network Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Network Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the survey.
